One Late Night For The Monster

Madeline and I spent the better portion of our afternoon running errands. Or at least, I ran the errands and she caused a fuss and complained about being "Sooooooo Tired Mommy!!". So we came home and unloaded our parcels, watched a little Disney Channel and then hopped in the car to head to Grandma and Grandpa Wootton's house for a Family Dinner Date. With Madeline, every dinner outside of our house is a Date. :)

We had a lot of fun, and a great BBQ dinner of hamburgers, salads and doughnuts. Madeline tore through the house and about the yard playing with Kaden. By the time we left Alpine it was 9:30 pm.

Madeline was awake in Alpine. She was awake in Cedar Hills. She was awake at Purple Turtle on State Street. Somewhere between Purple Turtle and home this happened.




There are some moments where you are really reminded why you love your child. This was one of them.

Kangaroo Zoo

Jeremy and Danielle, Kaden and little Brinnley went with us to Kangaroo Zoo, to let the kids bounce around and waste some energy on Saturday. I'm so glad we went, it was a lot of fun for the kids and some good quality chat time for the adults. It's a great price for what could potentially be the entire day's worth of bouncing on inflatable toys.








Madeline and Kaden were inseparable for a while, then they wandered off their own ways for a bit. Madeline sure was exhausted when we got home. It was a great day, ended with great food from Chilli's and some Food Network shows. And somewhere in there we sent the boys to Bed Bath and Beyond to purchase a new rug for the livingroom. It's HUGE. Thanks so much Jeremy and Danielle, without that SUV of yours we would never have managed to get that rug home.







As you can see, Brinnley had a ball playing with Uncle Justin on the sidelines. She is so adorable.
I'm so glad that our kids are all close enough in age to play together. There's nothing more therapeutic than playing with your cousins when you're young.

Halloween Bee Costume Found

Last night Madeline was victorious. We have been having such a hard time finding a Bumble-Bee costume in her size, so we went over to the new Halloween store by the Jamba Juice on State Street in Orem and lo, what did we spy? A bee costume that would fit her. I'm not going to post pictures of her in it till Halloween though!

I'm still not too sure what I want to be this year. Which is strange because I normally know exactly what I want to be. Oh well. Justin has some good ideas for his own costume. So we're going to run over to the University mall and check out their store today.

I found a rug I want for the upstairs living-room, it's HUGE and it's only $100. Hopefully we can buy it, but right now it won't fit in our car so we'll have to borrow a vehicle from someone.

I think we might go do something fun today with Jeremy and Danielle and the kids. I'm sure there will be pictures.

The Blue Book of B's

Our Beautiful Blue-eyed Blonde Brought Back Boodles of B-Work. (From Pre-School of course. :P )

So today we made her a "B" Book. Mommy made the outside and Madeline did the illustrations. B is for Butterfly, Bumble Bee, Banana, and Boots (The Monkey from Dora the Explorer). She decorated the book with stickers from The Sticker Book of Pooh Bear. So there are Bears, Balloons, Butterflies, Bees, and Tigger. I know, Tigger starts with T, but apparently they Bounce. :)

We had a lot of fun tonight.

How Amazing Is My Sister-In-Law?

Danielle is AWESOME! I spent the better part of two hours yesterday fighting with the UI behind the scenes here at blogger.com, trying to get the background image to load properly. She texted me a minute or so ago and has totally fixed my problem. YOU ROCK DANIELLE!

I am so grateful. I love the way this looks now. :) Thank you so much.

Justin catches a plane for Miami today, he's gone for work purposes till Tuesday night. Madeline and I are going to have a clean the house party. Which really means that Madeline will play with her toys and watch TV while I clean the house from top to bottom. It's nice to work most of the week, but since I've started it's even harder to keep on top of all the household chores.

This picture's slightly blurry, but it's the purse I bought yesterday at Kohls. I really wanted something that was not black for fall. The spots that are really shiney are dark brown metallic leather. The orange is a little lighter than it is in the picture, I had to use my camera-phone since our camera bit the dust the day Brinnley was born.

Anyway, Justin needs to pack, and I need to get lunch made. Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Provo Mall Craps Out; Poor Selection of Men's Shoes

Madeline has been giggles all week long. Finally she has started eating properly again as well. I'm beginning to wonder if the day I spent being sick was some strange strain of the flu instead of food poisoning, since Madeline got it very soon after. If that was the case though, the Chinese food at the Mall was still disgusting.

Speaking of malls, we went out to dinner last night (Carl's Jr so Madeline could play on the kids equipment) and then wandered over to Provo Mall to check out their Halloween store. Wow, for the amount of crap they have in that store, they sure don't have much in the way of kids costumes.

We were also looking for a new pair of work shoes for Justin, but the selection down there sucked. We're going to go look at Kohls today and see what we can find.

I was going through my recent pictures and found this one yesterday. Had to share it with you all. She was jumping on the couch in the office, and I caught this picture of her as her feet were furthest into the couch cushions. :P
